Titleist Performance Institute is offered
      at The Ball Golf Center

PGA Master Professional Steve Ball is a TPI Certified instructor. The only PGA professional in OKC to have earned the highest Level III certification.

1) A series of 12-14 different physical screens or tests are
conducted on a golfer.  From these screenings we are
able to pinpoint what parts of your body are either at
fault for your swing mistakes or are limiting your ability to
generate maximum power.  What is more amazing is that
this process is virtually 100% accurate in finding these
   deficiencies.

  1. 2)After these tests have been done we can then prescribe
a series of exercises that address a  players limitations.
Part of the TPI service that we can offer is that a
work out schedule consisting of 18 sessions is then sent
to the player.  After finishing these workouts it is amazing
how much easier it will be for a player to make their
       swing corrections.
Cost is $225 and includes the evaluation, swing lesson and an
    unlimited
       number of wokouts.

  3. 3)This type of program can:
        A)  Help eliminate pain you might have after playing
a round or practicing for a long period of time.
        B)  Can also prevent future injuries from happening.
        C) Extend your playing career.

  4. 4)Testimonial -  Following is a testimonial from one of my students that particiapted in the TPI program. His name is Pat Morgan - age 69.  As you will see when you read this not only has it made a big difference in his golf game but also in every day life.  Way to go Pat!!!

Steve

I am not sure how to begin this, but I will start with some brief history. About 5 years ago a young colt I was training threw me on my left shoulder and ultimately surgery was required to repair the damage. About 14 months later after another horse wreck, the orthopedic surgeon tried to repair the rotator cuff in my right shoulder, but when  he got in there he discovered that there was no rotator cuff left in that shoulder.  I was told that the only way that I would get close to full range of motion back in that shoulder was to have replacement surgery. Which considering my age at the time (67) did not seem like a reasonable option to me. So I decided to live with it.

Last December you and I discussed the TPI program as a possible way for me to regain some flexibility which would help my golf swing.  And after the pre-test and the program set out by you and TPI, I began to do the recommended  program in earnest.

The descriptions of the exercises provided to me on the TPI web site were very helpful (in fact the best available in my opinion, because I had tried a different program a year or so earlier, but just could not get into it).  Any way your suggestion that I consult with  a personal trainer to help me do the exercises right and your recommendation of Patrick Wellington really helped me understand what I was supposed to be doing.

After less than two months in the program I was heartened by at how much my flexibility and core strength had improved.

Some of the most salient points about my experience with the program are:

That I was able to see my self improvement within a week or so of starting it, that was critical to keeping my motivation up and wanting to do better.  I did all ten exercises set out by the  program at least 3 days a week and every day when I could. To do all ten exercises took me about 40 minutes to start with, but as I got better and could feel the improvement, I did more repetitions each work out.

I know that I am able to saddle a horse and do a heck of a lot of other work associated with my other hobbies of horse and bird dog training a lot better than I have been able to for the last several years.

And of course, I can hit a golf ball consistently further than I have been able to for more than 20 years.  A good bit of that is the result of to your teaching, but my participation in the TPI program has substantially contributed to it.

I cannot adequately express my thanks to you for your swing teaching, getting my involved in the TPI program, and introducing me to Patrick Wellington. As you so often do you found a  perfect fit there.
