To play at a competitive level the following six areas must be addressed and practiced.
1) Basic swing fundamentals
2) Shot Making Skills - To include being able to
shape and curve your shots as well as being able to
affect the trajectory.
3) Course Management - This would include
strategies and Game Planning for each particular
course based on the players strength's and shot shape.
4) Equipment - Proper club fitting is a must. This
would be accomplished out doors where ball flight can
be observed and launch monitors can accurately
measure ball flight.
5) Physical Conditioning - At Ball Golf we use methodology from the Titleist Performance Institute. This
includes a physical screening to determine a players
physical strengths and deficiencies. Then a specific
conditioning program is prescribed. This is same
program used by many professional tour players
in the world. Steve Ball is a certified TPI Instructor.
6) Mental Game - At Ball Golf we feel that a player
must have this in order to take their skills they have
refined on the practice tee and take them to the
course in a competitive environment. This is the same
mental game technique used by more than 300 PGA
and LPGA tour players.
Steve Ball is a certified Golf Psych mental game
instructor.
